The daiis program has been very insightful, bringing different values, approaches, and perspectives to the surface. It has helped my personal and professional development in a number of ways. The biggest takeaways thus far have been from both the financial fitness and the leadership modules. Learning how much compounding can truly affect the bottom line has been really important for me to recognize ways to improve my financial fitness. The communicating for impact session in the leadership module was eye-opening as we learned about “learner” and “judger” mindsets. If you pay careful attention to how you say certain things, you can learn how to be more of a learner and less judgmental. Think of the difference we can make in the others’ lives, both personally and professionally, simply by being more cognizant of how we say things to get our message to the receiver!

I have found the daiis program to be unique in that it focuses on reflection and application to drive real growth. While targeting core areas for personal and professional improvement, DAIIS goes far beyond the typical clichés offered in most corporate training programs. The DAIIS program has been, far and away, the best professional development program of my career.

I gained a lot of new coping mechanisms through the daiis program and presenters. The most impactful to my situation was the Emotional Intelligence Session on Stress Management & Self-Regard. Working with the weekly calendars brought additional awareness of how I was approaching conflicts that occur and the coping mechanism in daiis on how to approach and work within those conflicts.

[Emotional intelligence] was my favorite and most impactful session. Perhaps due to this being a subject matter I enjoy, but also the information and how it was presented. More group activities, an enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructor, and subject matter with instant an understanding to how it applies to my daily work and personal life. [Work] is a high stress environment at times, and learning how to approach co-workers with that in mind has been very helpful.
